Postage and Delivery Information.

U.K. Standard Delivery

Our aim is to despatch all orders either on the day of receipt or the next working day. All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in South Yorkshire.

RamsdensDirect operate a ship by weight tariff, as our shipping costs are determined by product weight we feel it the fairest way to charge our customers.

This way customers buying light items do not pay more than necessary and whilst heavier items do incur a larger postage chrage the system enables us to keep our item prices as low as possible as we do not have to build in shipping subsidies into our prices.

The price you pay for shipping is based on the total combined weight of the products in your shopping basket. The following prices then apply;

£4.00 per order plus 50p per KG.

(E.g. you buy 2 items, one weighs 2kg and one weighs 5kg. Total basket weight is therefore 7kg so total postage is £4 + £3.5 (7 x 50p) = £7.50)

Goods are delivered either by Interlink Express or Royal Mail Parcels.  Please allow 7 days for delivery. This is a U.K. wide service including offshore addresses.

Next Working Day Service

For items required urgently you can upgrade to our next working day delivery service which incurs an additional charge of £3 per order. These orders are dispatched using our couriers’ next day service. If you choose to use this service and place your order before 1pm we aim to dispatch your item the same day for next working day delivery. (Service only available to U.K. Mainland addresses not Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands.)

Delivery Problems

If you believe an item has been lost by our carrier please leave 3 working days after your estimated delivery time before reporting the matter to customerservices@ramsdensdirect.com
